Integer Poker Joins Equity Poker Network

Integer Poker has soft launched on the Equity Poker Network (EPN) and will run a $3k freeroll on Sunday in order to test its online poker gaming software. New Jersey Issues First Internet Gambling Permit

An announcement from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has brought Internet gambling one step closer in Atlantic City. The regulatory authority has issued its first Internet gambling permit and it has gone to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, owned by Boyd Gaming Corps and MGM Resorts in Atlantic City. The Division of Gaming Enforcement said that the Borgata was the first to complete the application. The casino will have to wait until November 21 before it can offer online gambling services. Scotty Nguyen Makes Poker Hall of Fame

The names of the 2013 inductees to the Poker Hall of Fame are out. Balloting by poker fans created a short list of ten from which living Hall of Fame members and poker journalists picked Tom McEvoy and Scotty Nguyen. The ceremonies will take place on November 3. It is not easy to become a member of this elite poker club. Both Nguyen and McEvoy had been nominated four times before and were elected only the fifth time. McEvoy was the winner of the 1983 World Series of Poker Championship Event. He was the first poker player ever to win the event after gaining entry through a satellite tournament. Though he has four WSOP bracelets and $2.95 million in live tournament winnings, McEnvoy has been chosen for his contribution to poker away from the tables.

Full Tilt Affiliates Now Eligible for Reimbursement

It appears all hope is not lost for the scores of Full Tilt affiliates left in the lurch in the wake of the Black Friday shutdown in April 2011.

According to the official website for the Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration, affiliates of Full Tilt Poker will be able to submit Petitions for Remission to recover the portion of their account balances that does not relate to their Affiliate status. Previously, affiliate accounts were flagged for non-payment, regardless if the funds in the account were from affiliate or poker activity.

Robin Ylitalo Wins European Poker Tour London’s Main Event

While all eyes are currently locked in on the World Series of Poker Europe, we have to take a quick look at the impressive winner from the European Poker Tour Londons Main Event. Not only because it was a very impressive win, but it came along with a nice pay day against a solid field also. When all was said and done it was Robin Yliatlo who had to grind out the final day of action over an eight hour span to grab the victory and take home the first place pay day £560,980. When the action started, we saw Ylitalo sitting in third place with some work to do with 2.795 million chips. While sitting pretty, Jeff Rossiter was the player everyone had to catch with 5.205 million chips, and then Georgios Karakousis with 4.39 million chips.
