Casino Blackjack Dealer Apologizes to Wife of Anthony Weiner

If youve been living in a cave, you may not have heard that New York Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner has been in a bit of trouble lately, thanks to a Blackberry image of a mans crotch was posted to his Twitter feed last Friday.

Since then, his life has been mayhem. He avoided any direct questions regarding the picture from reporters and even got testy (pardon the pun) with their prodding.

Initially, Weiner blamed a hacker for the incident, but curiously refrained from asking the police to investigate the picture, which was seen by his 45,000 followers. Weiner called the hacking mischief and wouldnt admit as to whether or not he sent the picture.

Then, once he realized he was cornered, the married 46-year-old Weiner eventually admitted to the sending the photo, crying at a press conference on Monday and confessing to having online affairs with six women in the past three years. He apologized to his wife, 34-year-old Huma Abedin, who serves as Hillary Clintons closest aide. Among Weiners cyber girlfriends is a Vegas-based casino blackjack dealer, Lisa Weiss, who felt so bad about her involvement with the married congressman, she wrote an apology letter to his Abedin.

In a letter obtained by TMZ,  Weiss sends Abedin her deepest apologies for conversing with your husband Congressman Anthony Weiner, adding, I honestly meant no harm and I hope that you and Anthony can work through this.

Hilariously, Weiss ends the letter, I still remain a huge supporter!

Meanwhile, House of Representatives party leader Nancy Pelosi formally referred his case to the Ethics Committee. In a letter she sent to the committee on Tuesday, Pelosi requested a formal investigation, citing that Weiner has disclosed conduct which he described as inappropriate.
